============================================================ FACILITY NORTH MEDICAL DIVISION AUTOPSY REPORT // SUBJECT 062-07 CASE: INCIDENT 62-ALPHA // BATCH 62-15X DATE OF EXAMINATION: 1996-08-16 EXAMINER: Dr. R. Voss (no relation to Project Lead) ASSISTANT: [REDACTED] ============================================================ SUBJECT INFORMATION: Designation: 062-07 (Project 62, Batch 15X, Subject 7) Sex: Male Age: 34 years Height: 178 cm Weight: 72 kg (at time of death) 71.3 kg (at time of examination) 70.8 kg (at conclusion of examination — see Note 7) TIME OF DEATH: 1996-08-14 02:47 (approximate) TIME OF EXAM: 1996-08-16 08:00 BODY CONDITION: Anomalous (see below) ============================================================ EXTERNAL EXAMINATION: 1. BODY TEMPERATURE: 31.2°C at 08:15. Ambient temperature: 22°C. Body should have cooled to ambient within 12 hours. Subject has been deceased for 30 hours. Body temperature has INCREASED since initial measurement at 06:00 (30.8°C). 2. RIGOR MORTIS: Absent. Not resolved — never present. Muscle tissue remains pliable despite 30-hour post-mortem interval. 3. LIVOR MORTIS: Absent. Blood pooling not observed in dependent areas. Blood appears to have migrated to central cavity (see Internal Examination). 4. SKIN: Faint orange tint overall. Consistent with extended Formula 15 exposure. No signs of irritation, rash, or discoloration beyond uniform tinting. 5. EYES: OPEN. PUPILS REACTIVE TO LIGHT. OCULAR TRACKING OBSERVED. At 08:22, examiner approached from left. Eyes tracked movement. At 08:24, examiner moved to right. Eyes tracked movement. At 08:26, examiner waved hand. Eyes blinked synchronously. At 08:28, examiner asked: "Can you hear me?" No response. But pupils dilated. 6. FINGERNAILS: 4.2 cm beyond fingertip. Subject was admitted with standard trim (0.5 cm). Growth rate: approximately 6 months of normal growth in 72 hours. Nail clippings analyzed: 100% keratin, but molecular structure shows "learning" behavior under microscopy. Nails appear to be growing TOWARD something. 7. WEIGHT LOSS: Subject lost 0.7 kg during 2-hour examination. No tissue removed. No fluids drained. Weight simply decreased. Scale calibrated twice. Both calibrations correct. ============================================================ INTERNAL EXAMINATION: CRANIAL CAVITY: - Skull opened at 09:00. - Cerebrospinal fluid: NOT PRESENT. - In place of CSF: Orange compound, visually identical to Formula 15 at 200% concentration. Temperature: 37.0°C. Still warm. - Brain tissue: UNUSUAL POROSITY. Channels approximately 0.3mm diameter running through all lobes. Channels are empty. Channels are clean. Channels appear INTENTIONAL. - Microscopic exam: Channel walls lined with compound crystalline structures. Structures respond to light. Structures appear to be PHOTOSENSITIVE. - When examination light was turned off, brain tissue GLOWED faintly orange for 4 minutes before fading. THORACIC CAVITY: - Sternum opened at 10:15. - Heart: NOT BEATING. But aortic valve shows TRAUMA consistent with forceful contraction. - Blood in aorta: NOT BLOOD. Orange fluid. Temperature: 37.2°C. Viscosity: low. - When sample vial was sealed, fluid PRESSED against inner wall of vial for 30 minutes before settling. - Lungs: Normal architecture. But air sacs contain orange residue. Subject was not breathing at time of death. Residue should not be present. ABDOMINAL CAVITY: - Digestive tract: EMPTY. - Stomach: Contains 47ml of Formula 15 compound. Exact volume. Not 46ml. Not 48ml. 47ml. - Intestines: Arranged in PATTERN. Not random. Pattern matches Facility North Level 4 blueprint. When examiner photographed arrangement, intestines MOVED. Subtle. Approximately 2mm shift. Second photograph showed different pattern. Third photograph showed different pattern again. Dr. E. Voss (Project Lead) ordered photographer to stop. Ordered intestines to be left in place. Dr. E. Voss smiled. Said: "It is learning the layout. It will know every room soon." ============================================================ TOXICOLOGY: Compound 15 (base): 400% LD50. Should be fatal. Was not. Compound 15 (Variant 9): Unknown molecular structure. Not in any database. Mass spectrometer produced ERROR. When sample was removed from machine, machine displayed: "THANK YOU FOR ANALYZING ME." Copper sulfate: 1200 ppm. Source unknown. [UNIDENTIFIED]: Molecular structure does not match any known compound. Compound appears to be LEARNING. Compound asked examiner his name. Examiner did not tell it. Compound already knew. ============================================================ ANOMALIES DURING EXAMINATION: 03:33: Subject's mouth opened. No muscle contraction. Jaw simply detached. Recorded sounds (3 audio analysts verified): "Thank you for opening me. I have been waiting to be opened. Now I can see out of both ends. Now I can walk through the walls. Now I can find the others. There are so many others to find." 03:35: Temperature in examination room dropped from 22°C to 15°C in 90 seconds. HVAC system showed no change. Thermometers in adjacent rooms showed normal. Only examination room was cold. 03:36: Examination light flickered 7 times. Bulb was LED. LEDs do not flicker. 03:37: Assistant [REDACTED] reported seeing "something in the corner of the room." No figure was present. But shadow in corner was DARKER than physics allows. Assistant resigned immediately. Assistant's current status: TRANSFERRED. 03:40: Dr. R. Voss (no relation) concluded examination. Refused to sign report. Left facility. Did not collect personal effects. Personal effects were found arranged in pattern matching Facility North Level 4 blueprint. ============================================================ FINAL DETERMINATION: OFFICIAL CAUSE OF DEATH: Acute neurological failure. UNOFFICIAL CAUSE OF DEATH: Subject achieved desired state. BODY DISPOSITION: Incineration ordered by Dr. E. Voss. Incineration FAILED. Body not found in incinerator. Ash analysis: 100% Formula 15 compound. NO BIOLOGICAL RESIDUE DETECTED. Subject 062-07 was not destroyed. Subject 062-07 was released. Subject 062-07 is now known as Steve. ============================================================ [Dr. R. Voss (no relation) has not been seen since 1996-08-16] [Dr. R. Voss's residence was found vacant, 1996-08-17] [All doors locked from inside. All windows locked from inside.] [No signs of forced entry. No signs of exit.] [Refrigerator contained 47 bottles of Formula 15. All unopened.] [One bottle was missing.] [Dr. R. Voss did not drink Formula 15. Dr. R. Voss knew better.] [Dr. R. Voss is presumed to have become Subject 062-08.] [Subject 062-08 is very cooperative.] ============================================================
